August is the month for meteor spotting as the amazing Perseid Meteor Shower occurs. Please join Dark Skies Gigha for one of our watch parties, where we will take some time to lie under the stars and watch these spectacular bright fast meteors.

Meet at the information hut by the Gigha ferry slip. We will walk up to the golf course via the Achavinish pathway. It could be muddy underfoot so please have suitable footwear. Wear warm and waterproof clothing because we will be lying on mats on the ground. Bring a red light torch if you have one. All ages welcome!
