Gigha Celtic Moon Club
Celtic Moon Club is a community of lunar lovers gathered together online and hosted by Scottish author Gillian Caine. Inspired by her life-long fascination with the moon and an appreciation of Celtic traditions, Gillian’s vision is to grow a network of moon-loving communities and family groups linked across local areas. In 2024, Dark Skies Gigha asked Gillian if we could form a Gigha Celtic Moon Club and help people get the most out of full moon nights. Gigha’s Celtic Moon Club was born with the goal of helping households plan meals and celebrations themed around the Celtic names of the moon for each month. Members come from the Gigha Community and, thanks to our many tourists and visitors, also from the UK and across the world.
